About
My career is defined by creating value through innovation, regenerative design, advocacy, and cultivating dynamic purpose driven organisational cultures. Most recently, as a partner and co-CEO of BVN, one of Australia's leading architectural practices, with studios also in the US and UK.
Three decades of architectural practice are foundational to my deep understanding of the industry and the urgent need for transformation to address issues of environmental impact, cost, productivity and digitalisation. I am focused on the possibilities that advanced technologies, circularity and new business models provide in accelerating this transformation.
I have worked across most sectors and project typologies, including complex, world-leading projects. These projects have been recognised with over 60 national and international architectural awards. Successfully forming and collaborating with large global teams including complex stakeholder groups has been instrumental in achieving these extraordinary project outcomes.
Forming industry collaborations with universities and developing global networks are part of the expertise I bring to developing research and new ventures strategy for business. My research agenda is centred on robotics, digitalisation and circular materials. Research outcomes include co-authoring papers, a granted US patent, product commercialisation initation, globally featured articles and awards.
I share my insights at conferences nationally and internationally and am recognized as one of 100 visionary Australians taking effective action to respond to the most critical issue of our time, climate change. In 2021, I served as a Commissioner for the Future of Sydney’s CBD to assist policy makers in setting the future agenda for Sydney.
